George R. Baddour Jr., M.D.
Dr. Baddour, originally from Munford, Tennessee, has been in private practice with University Orthopaedic Surgeons since 1985.
He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 1975. Undergraduate academic honors included Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. Dr. Baddour obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and trained in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. He also completed a trauma fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston.
He serves as a Clinical Instructor at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Dr. Baddour has a special interest in treatment of injuries and disease of the shoulder.
Dr. Baddour is an avid hiker and runner. He is married and he and his wife have one son.
