Responsibilities for the Medical Assistant include assisting physician in clinic, pulling patients back, and entering demographic information, various clinical and clerical duties. JOB TITLE: Pre-Certification Coordinator
Pre-Certification Coordinator to join our team at University Orthopaedic Surgeons office. Monday - Friday with an opportunity of flexible scheduling. The Pre-Certification Coordinator will be responsible for obtaining pre-certifications for provider recommended tests and surgical procedures, obtains accurate diagnosis and procedure codes to provide payers via provider portal, fax or telephone. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, ability to work independently as a team. Excellent communication skills required to speak with patients, insurance companies, and physicians. Pre-certification experience preferred.

JOB TITLE: Primary Scribe
Primary Scribe for a Monday - Friday opportunity, with flexible scheduling to join our University Orthopaedic Surgeons office. The Primary Scribe will be assigned to one physician and will be responsible for inputting diagnoses and treatment plans in the chart, pulling patients back, assisting with intakes, fluoroscopic guided injections, drawing up injections with a sterile technique, ordering supplies and stocking procedure room. Additionally, the Primary Scribe will collaborate with office staff to ensure all areas of assigned physician's clinic flows smoothly. Medical terminology and computer skills are important. This is an upbeat and fast-paced clinic. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude. CMA & LPN required.

Radiologic Technologist - For a full-time position at our University Orthopaedic Surgeons office. This role will be Monday - Friday with flexible scheduling. The Rad Tech will be responsible for radiographs, quality control, patient care, cleaning and stocking supplies. Must be a team player and possess the ability to communicate with technologists, staff and physicians. Ideal candidate will rotate between offices. ARRT and Tennessee State license required.

Front Office Specialist - University Orthopaedic Surgery Center has an opening for a full time Front Office Specialist for Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.. The Front Office Specialist will be responsible for checking patients in day of surgery, preparing patient charts, managing physician op-notes, collecting payments as needed, scanning medical records and assisting with various front office administrative duties as needed. Must be organized, detailed oriented, excellent communication skills; energetic and friendly.

JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse - OR
Registered Nurse – Monday through Friday opportunity with flexible scheduling and late rotation in the Operating Room at University Orthopaedic Surgery Center. The OR Registered Nurse responsibilities include circulating in the operating room for surgeries including arthroscopic sports medicine, minor trauma, and total joint replacement. Additionally, the OR Registered Nurse will assist with room set up and turnover. OR experience in orthopaedic preferred; must be BLS certified and both ACLS and PALS required within 90 days of hire (provided at facility). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to safety, efficiency, and effectiveness providing top quality paitent care. No call! No weekends! Paid holidays!

Sterile Processing Tech – For a full-time, Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. opportunity at our University Orthopaedic Surgery Center. The Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for preparing and processing surgical equipment and regularly conduct inspections for deficiencies of instruments. Must have the ability to work in a very busy orthopaedic surgery environment, multi-task well, as well as be a team player. BLS is required, certification preferred, however, training can be provided.
