JOB TITLE: Appointment Scheduler 

Appointment Scheduler - For Monday - Friday opportunity with flexible scheduling at our University Orthopaedic Surgeons office. This role is responsible for making patient appointments for all University Orthopaedic Office locations and providers. The Appointment Scheduler will follow appointment guidelines to ensure proper scheduling and rescheduling via phone/online, as well as additional office experience. NextGen EHR, Rockhopper, and patient self-scheduling a plus. Must be a team player and have a positive attitude.

JOB TITLE: Physician Assistant 

Physician Assistant - For a full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday, with occasional trauma call, to work at our University Orthopaedic Surgeons offices in Knoxville, Sevierville, and Turkey Creek. The Physician Assistant will work independently with a Foot and ankle Specialist in the clinic seeing new and returning patients, as well as assisting in minor office procedures. Must have previous experience; orthopaedic experience preferred. Active Physician Assistant License required.

JOB TITLE: Medical Front Office Specialist 

Medical Front Office Specialist - For a Monday - Friday opportunity with flexible scheduling. The Medical Front Office Specialist are check-in and check-out, collecting co-pays, various clerical duties, must be willing to travel to various offices if needed, schedule office appointments, must be friendly and dependable, EHR and NextGen experience preferred, medical office experience a plus.

University Orthopaedic Surgery Center Openings

JOB TITLE:  Sterile Processing Tech

Sterile Processing Tech – For a full-time, Monday - Friday, 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. opportunity at our University Orthopaedic Surgery Center. The Sterile Processing Tech will be responsible for preparing and processing surgical equipment and regularly conduct inspections for deficiencies of instruments. Must have the ability to work in a very busy orthopaedic surgery environment, multi-task well, as well as be a team player. BLS is required, certification preferred, however, training can be provided.

JOB TITLE:  Certified Surgical Tech

Certified Surgical Tech - An opportunity at our University Orthopaedic Surgery Center offering flexible scheduling and shifts. The Certified Surgical Tech role will assist in trauma, sports medicine, and total joint procedures. Total joint and orthopedic experience a plus. Certification and BLS is required. No call! No weekends! Paid holidays!

JOB TITLE:  Radiologic Technologist 

Radiologic Technologist for a flexible scheduling, Monday through Friday opportunity at our University Orthopaedic Surgery Center. This Rad Tech will be responsible for operating fluoroscopy equipment in the surgical suites, as well as radiographs, quality control, patient care, cleaning, and stocking supplies. Must be a team player and possess the ability to communicate with technologists, staff, and physicians. ARRT and Tennessee State license required.

JOB TITLE: Prerioperative Tech 

Perioperative Tech – For a full-time, Monday - Friday opportunity at our University Orthopaedic Surgery Center. The Perioperative Tech will be responsible for assisting in the turnover of surgical cases and operating rooms in between cases. Additionally, the Perioperative Tech will assist with positioning and prepping patients for surgery, picking cases, restocking supplies and linens. Ability to work in a busy orthopaedic surgery environment, multi-task well, as well as be a team player. Previous surgical or patient care experience and BLS in required.
