  • “Thanks to my care at UOS, I can...return to normal activities, serve my Lord Jesus and share my blessing. Thanks for my great UOS medical care and God's healing hands.”

  • “Thanks to my care at UOS, I can proudly say my knee replacement followed the 2-2-2 recovery schedule without a unexpected situation. 2 days go home, 2 weeks remove staples, and 2 months to finish recovery and then take the time for necessary leg muscle growth to get full recovery. Dr. Tonne did a great job on the operation. Although I hopefully do not have to have the other knee replaced, should it become necessary, I would like for Dr. Tonne preform the operation.”

  • “Thanks to my care at UOS, I can now walk without a boot. Which was the goal when I saw Dr. Seaworth for the first time. I spent six weeks in a cast and almost three additional weeks in a boot. I was able to get in to see Dr. Seaworth very soon after my injury. She was a great communicator and very interested in my injury and had genuine empathy with what had happened to me. She explained what the situation was and what the plan of care would be for this injury. I explained that I hoped that I would be able to make my trip to Italy the middle of October. She said we will work towards that goal. University Orthopaedics should be happy to have a Doctor of her caliber. I give her a 10+ as a person who really cared about me and my reason for being at UOS. She also had a great sense of humor which I loved. Kudos to you and your staff for such good care. I am now without a boot and watching carefully where I place my foot. Many thanks!”

  • “Thanks to the excellent care at UOS, I can now walk with confidence during my upcoming trip to China. Great Wall of China, here I come. Dr. Seaworth and her staff gave me a timely appointment, after what we believed might be a stress fracture on the top of my right foot. I was super looking forward to walking the Great Wall in China a few days from now. After a couple of well-timed visits, it's clear it's not a stress fracture but arthritis, that can be managed during the trip (and after). I really appreciated Dr. Seaworth's timely consultations and suggestions for handling the issue. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Seaworth and her staff at UOS. Thanks you so much.”

  • “Thanks to my care at UOS, I can... once again hike the Appalachian Trail! Please get this picture to Dr Scott T Smith and Jamie Cross. This is me on Sept 29, 2016 standing on Myrtle Point, one of the sub peaks of Mt LeConte. Dr Smith was on duty in the trauma unit the day of my car accident in December of 2013. He and the team saved my life. During his ongoing care, he reconstructed the top and bottom portion of my right femur. I can now walk without a limp and feel blessed to have each and every day. Thank you!”
