Dr. Holt replaced my left knee on February 6, 2018. I chose to have my physical therapy at the UOS Turkey Creek location because it is an easy drive from Maryville. Little did I know I'd hit the jackpot for physical therapy! Physical therapy is hard, but the encouraging atmosphere of this office made me actually look forward to going. I saw both John and Lea during my treatment. Each of them comforted me when I had concerns, challenged me to go beyond what I thought I could do, and encouraged me as I progressed. I also loved the camaraderie that developed between patients as we cheered each other's progress. The office never felt overcrowded, and I never felt rushed by my therapists. At 6 weeks, I have reached my goals and have been discharged from therapy. I was actually a little sad to leave. I will be scheduling my right knee replacement with Dr. Holt soon. There's nowhere else I'd go for this surgery or for my physical therapy afterwards!”

I began seeing Dr. Holt and Erin a few years prior to my total knee replacement. Dr Holt accurately informed me how I would feel after surgery. The care I received from them before and during surgery was outstanding, and the care I am receiving after surgery is fantastic.
I began Physical Therapy at Turkey Creek after my knee replacement surgery. John, Lea, and Lynn are excellent and care about your success. During each visit they encourage you to do more than the last visit. They take the time to work with you, and provide exercises you need to do at home between appointments. The excellent care I received from them helped make my knee surgery a success.
When I have my left knee replaced, I will use Dr Holt and Physical Therapy at Turkey Creek.”

The results of the surgery simply amazed me. I was particularly impressed by the coordinated recovery between the doctors office and the extraordinary PT group in the same building in Turkey Creek. The therapy exceeded my expectations in every way. I left each session a little tired, a bit smarter, and a lot more confident. The training and advice is solid. Follow it and you will be on a trajectory to succeed beyond your expectations.
A word about pain management. I honestly found that the range of motion homework was very therapeutic. SERIOUSLY. If I woke up with pain, or found myself rather uncomfortable during the day, a few minutes of the stretches and bends (which are uncomfortable) brought almost instant relief after a few repetitions. The discomfort was reduced by more than half within a minute. There was not a pill in my house that could work that well or that fast.
